2013 Marlborough A & P Show

A  fantastic event for all the family – celebrating all that is Marlborough!

Organised by the Marlborough A & P Association and Marlborough 4 Fun this years show promises to deliver even better entertainment including on the main stage:

  • The Johnnys–  The world’s only all-girl, all Johnny Cash band, playing all the Cash classics that everyone is raving about.
  • Jokers Wild – the local country covers sensation, performing well known classics that are sure to get your toes tapping and singing along whilst you enjoy all the fun of the fair.

Plus heaps of free kids entertainment including the ever popular Rockwall, bouncy castles, facepainting, Young Farmers Animal Nursery, Ronald McDonald Show and more.

Heaps of stalls including craft, trade, food and beverages. New this year is the Toast to Marlborough marquee including Gourmet food from Quest Catering,  Matsons Brewery and Two River Wines,  cooking demos including Chris Fortune and so much more. Other new aspects include Hirepool Conservation Marquee, ANZ Nelson/Marlborough Young Farmer District Final Contest and the South Island Woodchopping Championships.

All surrounded by the agricultural displays and competitions – including terrier racing, dog trial displays,  vintage farm machinery, sheep, poultry and cattle competitions, home baking, woodchopping,  horse and pony competition including show jumping – competition commences at 8am plus other exciting equestrian competitions…

FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY $5 entry – HELTA SKELTA performing LIVE from 7pm whilst you enjoy the night time carnival till 9pm, a great night out for the youth of Marlborough and those who are feeling youthful.

Dont forget, new to this year’s line-up, Friday 4pm – 7pm is the Farmers Twilight Market. There is so much to see, do and enjoy at this year’s show!

Opening hours are ; Friday 10am -9 pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.
