Exclusive Construction Zones in Picton Harbour
With prepatory works underway getting ready for the Waitohi Ferry Redevelopment Project, the Marlborough District Council Harbours Team have deployed navigational buoys creating an exclusion zone in Picton Harbour.
These precautionary zones are in place to help keep everyone safe — including the public, those working nearby, and the construction crews — so please take care and keep an eye out for the buoys when coming in and out of Picton in your vessel.
Signage is being installed at launching ramps, fuel jetties, and other key locations at both Picton and Waikawa marinas to ensure boaties are well informed.
