Marinas Parking Segregation
You will see in all three marinas that we have now installed “Berth Holders Only” and “Pay & Display” plaques in all parking areas, as well as clearly defined berth holder and visitor parking areas. Marinas staff will be on site 7 days a week through summer to assist you with any queries you have regarding parking your vehicle while you are boating.
To ensure the smooth operation of the launching ramps and the convenience of everyone requiring car parking in our marinas this summer, we would appreciate your support with the correct use of our parking and launching ramp facilities. Please see the guidelines below, and links to maps of the parking areas.
Launching Ramp Users:
- For Car & Trailer parking are for stays of up to 3 days.
- For Car & Trailer parking stays exceeding three days, please use the overflow parking areas.
- In Waikawa, our marina staff will generally be available throughout working hours to transport you to and from the overflow areas.
- Visitors are to use Car Only Pay & Display parking areas for stays of up to three days.
- Please do not leave your boat unattended at the ramp. The Marina Customer Service Managers will endeavour to accommodate you (please ring ahead to reserve a casual berth)
- in Picton marina, use of the visitors wharf or breastworks is permitted for casual berthage – payable at the Beachcomber Cruises offices, or Picton Marina Service Centre office.
Boatshed and Compound Tenants
- Where possible, please return your trailer back to your allocated compound/boatshed after launching
- Park your car in the “Pay & Display” zones (at no charge, when displaying your compound/boatshed sticker)
- Please use the overflow parking area for any stay exceeding 3 days
- In Waikawa, our marina staff will generally be available throughout working hours to transport you to and from the overflow areas.
- Please do not leave your boat unattended at the ramp. The Marina Customer Service Managers will endeavour to accommodate you (please ring them ahead)
