Registrations are now open for Marina 2 Marina 2026, and Marlborough Sounds Marinas is proud to once again be the main sponsor of this iconic local event.

Taking place on Saturday 3 October, Marina 2 Marina is a highlight on the Picton calendar, connecting our marinas and coastal tracks in a way that showcases the very best of the Sounds. For many in our marina community, it is a familiar event on the calendar, either as a participant, supporter, or spectator along the route or in our marinas!

With a range of distances on offer, including 24km, 13km and 10km options, as well as a Kids Dash, there is something for all ages and fitness levels. It is as much about getting involved and enjoying the environment as it is about performance.

The course weaves through the same landscapes many of our marina community experience from the water, offering a different perspective of the marinas, from the shoreline and track perspectives that highlight the unique locations of our marinas. It is a great opportunity to see the Sounds from another angle, alongside friends, family and the wider community – and to get motivated and moving!
