The Portage Resort is back and better than ever this season, with new management, and having seen a top-knotch refurbishment.

The Snapper Bar is particularly popular with boaties – especially on Friday nights!

Located in the Kenepuru Sound, it’s only a 40min (approx) boat journey from Havelock Marina, or a  a quick 10-minute walk from the Queen Charlotte Track, or if you’re on your boat in the Queen Charlotte Sound,  you can pre-book transport over the hill directly with the Resort if you’re getting dropped at the Torea Bay wharf.

All-day dining is available at the Portage Resort restaurant and bar, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner – you can dine inside or al fresco overlooking spectacular views of the Sounds.

Boaties are welcome to come in to their newly renovated restaurant. There is a relaxing pool area with loungers, and beach front area available to explore with kiddies, and fishing rods and games available for use. Milkshakes are available at the bar, as well as ice-cream sundaes.

The resort boasts a lovely deck to sit on overlooking the water with great sunset views and some fabulous cocktails too.

The Resort has a swimming pool, kayaks for guest use and a range of accommodation options many offering stunning views.
