Sounds Shipwright Services are now well established in their new at the Southern end of Havelock Marina.

Lloyd Price and his team have been operating at Havelock for eight years, previously from modest ‘temporary’ facilities on an adjacent site that were increasingly inadequate for the volume and quality of work required.

The new building is a significant boat maintenance facility, with ample space for several sizeable vessels at a time. The heated paint bay provides an environment where top quality paint finishes can be achieved year-round.

The extensive concrete hardstand adjacent to the building drains to a specialist stormwater treatment plant, vastly improving environmental management of boat maintenance activities at Havelock.
