Sample fresh local seafood and Sauvignon Blanc on the way to the Bay of Many Coves luxury accommodation, where you will savour world-class cuisine and settle in for the night. Fill up on a full breakfast the next day before throwing out a line as you cruise back through the gorgeous Marlborough Sounds to Picton Marina with your catch, great memories and a few secret fishing spots up your sleeve for next time…

 HOW TO ENTER

1. Get snapping in the Sounds!
2. Go to the EXPERIENCE tab on our website, or on our Facebook page.
3. Before midnight on Sunday 15th of February 2015, enter your details and upload your photos to the categories you want to enter. There are four categories to choose from: Family Fun, The Catch, Stunning Scenery, and Sailing the Sounds.
4. Go to the Marlborough Sounds Marinas Facebook page and follow us by liking the page.

Marlborough photographer Rachel Russell, will choose the best overall Snap of Summer. She will also choose two category winners from each category – one for the age group 16 and over, and one for 15 and under.

We can’t wait to see what you have been up to this Summer in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Upload your Snaps of Summer in the Marlborough Sounds to the Marlborough Sounds Marinas website or Facebook page under the EXPERIENCE tab. Enter your details and upload the image taken in the Marlborough Sounds to the category you would like to enter. Only digital images will be accepted. All entrants need to like the Marlborough Sounds Marinas Facebook page to be eligible to win. Entrants can post as many photos as they like in each category. By entering this competition you are giving only the Marlborough Sounds Marinas the permission to use these images and your email address after the Snaps of Summer competition ends. If at any stage you would like Marlborough Sounds Marinas to cease using your image, you will need to contact us to make this request. The competition closes on Sunday the 15^th of February 2015 at midnight. Winners will be announced on the Marlborough Sounds Marinas Facebook page within a fortnight of the competition closing. The winners will be required to have a promotional photo taken as a winner or will be required to provide a suitable photo. Winners give permission to have their win publicised in their local newspaper. If the winner of the main prize of the Ultimate Sounds Experience is under 18 years of age, the prize will be adjusted to meet all legal requirements. All prizes are subject to availability at the time of booking. This competition is not open to employees of Port Marlborough and Marlborough Sounds Marinas.

Our local judge, photographer Rachel Russell has shared with us what she is looking for in the winning photo…and it is all about the feeling she gets from the image.

For the four category winners, she is looking for:
