Spirit of New Zealand Visiting Picton Marina

The Spirit of New Zealand, a 45-metre, three-masted sailing ship and one of New Zealand’s most iconic youth development vessels, plays a key role in maritime education and sail training for young people across the country.
This impressive ship will soon be berthing at Town Wharf 4 (Fisherman’s Wharf, outside Marlborough Tour Company / Cougar Line building). During its stay, the crane area at the end of Town Wharf 4 will not be accessible.
To ensure safe manoeuvring during arrival and departure, the Harbours Team and Coastguard will assist in clearing a path. We kindly ask all boaties to be aware of this vessel and allow extra space and time for it to berth safely.
