Marina Customer Satisfaction Survey
During the winter we conducted our biennial Marina Customer Satisfaction Survey and had a fantastic response from berth holders, trailer boaters and storage users. You will be happy to hear that we have taken on board your suggestions and, where feasible, have already begun making changes to improve our facilities. At all of our marinas we have implemented more frequent rubbish collections and cleats and ropes have either been replaced or added at all our fuelling berths. We have assessed the wash down facilities at all of our marinas and, where needed, replaced existing hoses with new 12m hoses.
Other improvements you may notice are:
AT WAIKAWA
- The gardens have had a makeover in recent weeks with new mulch and a general tidy up
- The west side has new waste management bins for cardboard and plastics that get emptied weekly
AT PICTON
- Replaced stickers on the fuel pumps so that a clear octane rating is showing (Premium 95)
- Increased access time to the recycling facilities
AT HAVELOCK
- Large numbering has been installed in B and G compounds and the padlock on compound B has been replaced
Feedback from our trailer boat customers resulted in the following changes which will hopefully improve your marina experience this season:
AT WAIKAWA
- Added extra berths to be used as visitor jetties. These jetties will have a flat rate for up to two hours and must be paid at the time of use (contact waikawa@msmarinas.co.nz)
- Use sandwich board signs to communicate shuttle pick up times
AT PICTON
- Public access to the launching ramp toilets has been changed to 6am to 8pm daily
AT HAVELOCK
- Fendering on the launching ramp floaters have been replaced with a heavy-duty rubber D fender
- Fixed loose and replaced missing Gobbi blocks on the launching ramp
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey and now it’s time for a drum roll as we announce the winners of the two $300 Burnsco vouchers that were up for grabs.
Our berth holder winner is Gary Baxter, our trailer boater and storage winner is Geoff Hayes.
Congratulations to you both.
