The good folk at the Waikawa Boating Club are always on a mission to get things pumping in Waikawa! Races are already scheduled for throughout winter, and numerous social evenings are on
the cards for the long nights ahead. Keep an eye on their Facebook page as well to stay in the loop with new events. Spring twilight racing format and dates still to be decided.

WBC is a truly nationwide Club with a membership of approximately 620 with 1/3 from Marlborough. Canterbury and Wellington residents being the next most significant membership regions. The lure of boating in the relatively calm waters of Marlborough Sounds continues to attract members from Northland to Southland. Included in the membership numbers are the Crew members who crew on yachts in the racing fleet or enjoy the atmosphere of the cosy Wardroom after sailing or on the popular Friday night Club nights, or on any number of social occasions held at the club. If you haven’t joined yet – pop in and see them at Waikawa Marina, you’ll wonder why you didn’t before!
