Marina 2 Marina is back for 2024 – on Saturday 5 October!

We are proud to have been Platinum and Naming sponsor for this scenic family event, since it began over 10 years ago, and with all profits from the event going back to the community groups who volunteer to make the day a success, we reckon it’s just about the best event around this side of summer! 

Marina 2 Marina is a scenic annual running event in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. Providing track options between all the marinas, there are a variety of walking or running courses to choose from, making the day suitable for the whole family, and all levels of fitness.

The four courses take you through native bush, marina coastlines and along waterfront trails. A key drawcard for the day, is the panoramic views of the Marlborough Sounds that this event provides. You will finish at the event hub on Picton waterfront where the community and festival atmosphere will welcome you home.  

 The Link, a 24km run (with optional boat cruise) from Anakiwa to Picton.

The Snout a 13km run or walk from Picton Marina to the end of the Snout and back.

Marina 2 Marina a 10km run or walk from Picton Marina to Waikawa Marina and back.

Kids Dash a 2km dash around Picton Marina for 5 to 9 year olds.
