We are looking for a motivated and energetic person to join our marinas team at Havelock Marina. Havelock offers excellent facilities for recreational boating, and commercial businesses mostly related to the
aquaculture industry.
The Marina Services Manager (Reliever) supports the full time Marina Services Manager by providing sole-charge cover during the Manager’s rostered days off and annual leave, as well as additional capacity over the busy summer period.
This permanent part-time role is ideally suited to someone who thrives being outside interacting with recreational and commercial customers, along with ensuring the marina is clean, tidy and well-presented. There is also an administration component, using well-established systems, so a level of literacy and computer skill is needed.
Typically you will work three days per week. This includes Sunday and Monday sole-charge managing the Marina’s daily operations, and one other day during the week dedicated to grounds maintenance (including lawns and gardening) and basic general maintenance around the marina.
If you have an excellent track record dealing with people, have a positive “can-do” attitude, are physically fit and willing to be outside in all weather conditions then we would love to hear from you. Full NZ Driver’s Licence essential; HT desirable; experience in the boating or marine sector would be helpful.
