A chilly night of Spring sailing saw only 10 boats brave enough to take on what looked like a poor forecast. However, whilst the breeze remained a chilly south/south easterly a steady 15kt breeze made for some good sailing and some spectacular dolphin activity, especially on the bow wave of the Interislander ferry.

Despite the relatively small fleet, there was a great turnout back in the Wardroom for the traditional post race BBQ, Prize giving and a meat raffle.

Next race Tuesday 21st October and look out for another meat raffle – they certainly seem popular.
