Stage 3 at Picton is Complete

“Picton Marina looks incredible” is just one of the many compliments from visitors to the redeveloped marina. We agree, and are very proud of the Higgins-led construction team, who worked tirelessly to see the project completed before the peak of the summer season.

With the goal of making the boating experience easier for visitors, while also increasing berth numbers, the project started with the demolition and removal of the existing infrastructure before the construction of a 860m2 boat ramp, 83m seawall, boardwalks, and viewing platforms. A new marina basin was excavated to increase berths from 106 to 121, now serviced by an expanded four lane ramp with access pontoons.

Adjacent to the ramp are new ablution facilities for all users, and with plenty of trailer parking and three wash down bays, clean-up is quicker and easier than ever at Picton.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
