Keeping our marinas both enjoyable and safe is a top priority for us. When you have your vessel plugged into shore power at your berth, it’s important to make sure your electrics are compliant with our shore power regulations. Vessels plugged in to shore power without a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness may be disconnected by our marina staff.
Unlike household electrical wiring, the electrical wiring and equipment on your vessel is subject to very different environmental factors which can lead to corrosion. For this reason it is important to regularly maintain and inspect your electrics, and if your vessel is left unattended at the berth and plugged in, you are legally obliged and bound by the terms of your berthage agreement to display an electrical warrant of fitness at all times.
