Havelock, Picton and Waikawa Marinas
Our three marinas present a range of berthing options to suit your boat, with berths available on an annual or casual basis.

Waikawa Marina offers 460 berths for vessels up to 20 metres, Picton 187 berths to 35 metres, and Havelock 372 berths to 30 metres. The majority of berths are configured on floating jetties and pontoons and are fully serviced with power and water. All marinas have floating fuel jetties for both petrol and diesel that can be paid for using your EFTPOS card or pin-enabled Credit Card.

Boatsheds are available at all three marinas for dry boat storage, and there are secure storage compounds at Waikawa and Havelock.

Waikawa Marina Trust

Immediately adjacent to Waikawa Marina is the Waikawa Marina Trust Marina, providing a further 150 berths ranging in size from nine to 18 metres, with ablutions and car-parking adjacent.

The Trust berths are held under a Trust Deed, and the Trust Marina is managed by Marlborough Sounds Marinas on behalf of the Trustee. Each individual berth is subject to a Long-term Berth Entitlement that secures the right to the berth for the term through to 2026 (coincident with the term of the resource consent for the Trust Marina). Provided that new resource consent can be achieved for the marina in 2026, the Entitlements have potential to extend through to 2056.

Berth Entitlements are transferable and do change hands from time to time. An annual administration and maintenance fee covers both short and long term maintenance requirements for the Marina Trust berths and associated amenities.
Town Wharves and Picton Foreshore Area

In Picton Harbour, further berths are available on small finger wharves near the Interislander Ferry Terminal. These are suited to larger vessels and are available for casual or long-term stay.

Commercial berths and premises are also provided right in the heart of Picton for tourism-related businesses, at London Quay. We provide berths for the local fishing fleets at both Picton and Havelock as well.
