D’urville Island Fishing Competition

Here’s an important date for this winter! keen sounds fishermen & women – get out your calendars and book in the 2017 Winter Fishing competition – hosted by the D’urville Island Wilderness resort (under new management) on the 14th & 15th July 2017.

The main Target species are going be the big winter Snapper and the Monster Winter kingfish this area of NZ is renowned for at this time of year. Plenty of prizes, and spot prizes up for grabs for over a dozen categories. A BBQ and finger food will be provided at the weigh in. Our accommodation is available for the weekend and is sure to fill up so get your reservations in ASAP!

Fishers of all ages and abilities are most welcome, and there will be a special kids category, with prizes on offer.
